Movement for Mental Health
Croxford's Movement for mental health is a 24 hour move-a-thon where we invited fitness instructors to teach classes throughout the 24 hours.
During the event we had 17 fitness classes while the event was taking place the other spaces where taken up by events such as just dance, a three hour dance, dinner, our gratitude ceremony; where PMAST, the Thumbs Up Foundation, and the mayor of Airdrie spoke.
The different classes varied between; combat classes, dance classes, workout circuits, yoga, zumba, and others.
Planned the event for six months.
My responsibility was to talk to all of the fitness instructors and schedule them all into a one hour time slot, as well I planned the rest of the schedule; such as when dinner was, when snack breaks where, when we where going to thank our sponsors etc.
